Tame Corsair H100i Fan Noise. I have a new installation with a Corsair H100i CPU cooler. I have the radiator and two fans mounted to the top of my case (BeQuiet Silent Base 600). I use the PC for my recording studio system and even at idle the fans will sound like they are pulsating (speeding up and slowing back down).

Crazycoder4life. Okay guys, I just did a fresh build with a h100i v2 and it appears that the AIO cooler is not working at all. The fans are not spinning up and the corsair logo is not illuminating on the pump. How I have it wired: the pump is plugged into the CPU Fan header on my mobo, and the two fans for the radiator are plugged into the two. CPU: Core i5-6600K. Cooler: Corsair H100i v2. When powering on, I see CPU fan light turn on for a sec then turn off. None of the case fan spin including radiator. I connected case fan directly to PSU molex conenctor, it doesnt spin. I took out PSU and connected the checker clip on other side of motherboard cable, turned off ECO mode and turned.

Uhh? My fans from the H100i V2 are connected to the cable coming off the pump. I think so, at least. The USB is plugged into a USB 2.0 header on my motherboard. Installed Corsair Link. I can see the pump speed. In Corsair Link, the fan speed for is showing 0 RPM.
H100i v2 TOO LOUD (even in QUIET) | TechPowerUp Forums.
A +$100 cooler should not have fans this poorly made, especially when they are designed specifically to interface with the software. Subscribe!. I also rarely have the issue where link shows 0 for the fans but a reboot corrects that. If everything is seated/connected and a stock cooler works id have them replace your H100i either via the retailer you bought it from or via corsair. I think my H80i has a 5 year warranty. Id imagine the H100i is the same.

If everything is plugged in make sure to set your mobo fan curve to 100% all the time, the h100i v2 needs this power, and the fan speed will change (it wont be 100% all the time), as programmed. I had the exact same problem, called up corsair and they said to set it to 100% in PWM mode. The Fans need to be plugged in to the splitter that comes. Everyone is complaining about the Corsair LINK software not letting them control the fan speed but I dont need fan crontrol. I need fan to spin fast right off the bat. This fan speed loss happens while sitting in the BIOS menu as well. After about 8 minutes though the cooler makes a sound like it's spinning down but the RPM goes up.
Fans connected to H100i v2 have different speeds... - Corsair Community.
The RPM of both fans hovers around at 1000~1200 RPM. In my H100i V2 at QUIET setting goes at 60% above 40c. At more than 2000 RPM the sound of the fans is TOO LOUD. But at least it is quiet. My Broadwell is around 30~40c at this stage. When i go into games i OC the Broadwell-e and the Pump goes to 50c but is doable (the sound). Using an Asus Maximus VII Hero, I7 4790K and the Corsair H100i. The fans are using the splitter to plug directly into the pump, the pump is plugged into the USB header on the motherboard and is powered via SATA. Its defiantly powered because the corsair logo lights up red (red breathing pattern) when the power is turned on. Hello! A year and a half ago I built my pc and I choose the H100i as my cooler. Today my fans stopped working. I've tried to make them spin as fast as possibile through the BIOS, but that doesn't work either.

I acquired a Corsair H100i V2 last night and installed it into my system this morning but I'm having a problem with it not showing up in Corsair Link. The pump is working fine and the fans are spinning. Or I assume the pump is working since the LED's on it are lit up and my CPU doesn't seem to be. Installed the USB for Corsair Link and the pump straight into the CPU_FAN header just like in the instructions. I noticed that at first the fans were spinning so I thought that it was because my cpu wasn't under load. I ran FurMark and then my CPU cores got up to 50c. Keep in mind both Corsair Link and Open Hardware Monitor were reporting very. When adding a small tank to the loop, use the shorter tube length as possible. Be sure to also clean the rotor shaft and rotor itself. Usually, deposits on the rotor shaft slow the pump speed. Last thing, do not run bare distilled water, add 10/15% of anti-freeze, to avoid growth and lubricate the loop. Save.

Alright, I'm getting straight to the point: One of the fans on my Corsair H100i V2 liquid cooler is making a whole lot of noise, it sounds like as if it would be plastic on plastic action. The problem seems to be occurring more towards the evening since that's when I've had the PC running for a while (but not necessarily always). You will find two ports on top of the cooling unit, where you can plug in the included fan power adapter cables. Each adapter will support two fans, and by plugging the fans directly into the fan power adapter cable and into the cooling unit, you will be able to monitor and control the H100i fans through the Corsair Link V2 software. Hi guys, So I got my new liquid AIO corsair H100i v2 on a 6600k oc'd to 4.6ghz, and the fans are not spinning on the thing does it have some sort of 0rpm mode on it like some graphics cards have? When I run a benchmark (some Intel bench) the fans spin up and seem to work proper but when I play ga.

1) You are missing the Performance Tab for the Commander Pro that allows you to change fan speeds. This was a common glitch on iCUE 3.4. Make sure you are on 3.5.111. If still the same issue, generally a restart of the program resolves the missing tab. 2) H100i v2 - Pump speed is way too low and fans show zero.

Dear Brian Walker, I am very sorry to hear that you are having a problem with one of your cooling fans not spinning. I can confirm that this is uncommon as the card you received was. My issue is that the H80i fans sin up at startup, but once Win10 starts the fans stop. I booted into safe mode to fix another issue (unrelated to H80i) asnd the fans sin nicely. H80i is connected via USB and fans are connected to the H80i. Corsair Link shows the fans spinning, but they are not Any suggestions are appreciated.
